McGrain, I gave you rounds and re-scored it and everything. Surely you have a bone to pick with my scorecard for the rubber match mayne?

F Me Flea, 9-3 in the rematch, even with my preferance for MAB's style and work I had it 7-5. I think I'm the only one who's had the first as wide as 9-3 though, although I am ofcourse right.

You can tell Bill Butcher hasn't been on the forum in the last week or so

Not a robbery in the result, MAB has a case for a win BUT probably a robbery in the sense their was a stacked deck. A judge had an 8-4 card to MAB, is that justifiable? I don't think it is.

What I always find amusing is people who think the 1st fight was some sort of robbery then you hear their scorecards for the 2nd fight while (strait faced) say they scored it for Barrera.

The second fight is far closer, 7-5 either way or a draw but the 8-4 judges card is way off base. MAB bossed the first though, which I think was an Arum card

People like to throw around that robbery label a lot in close fights, but there are still a few instances where I think the judges totally dropped the ball. MAB-Morales 2 is certainly not one of those instances.

Morales had a high output in that fight, but as I recall MAB was landing the more damaging blows on a more frequent basis, and a lot of those rounds were judicial nightmares. I can certainly see the case for Morales, but I scored it for MAB.

Admittedly, it has been a long while since I've seen that one. Planning to rewatch all of them soon.

When I do, I shall report back to this thread.
