I was told DeGale wanted 100k a fight. Your choice to trust that info or not, nobody is forcing you. I wasn't in the meeting, just what I was told but someone i trust.

Don't think he is out of contract though.

Surely fighters will have clauses in contracts that allow them to move if they aren't getting fights regularly. Burns has bills to pay and if he isn't fighting then what's he supposed to do? He hasn't fought since September.

Is Selby a major signing? I don't think he is but would like to see him with Eddie. Mitchell isn't major either. I will go with Joshua and Burns

Says in the newspaper interview that one is a British champion so it will be probably Selby or maybe even Frankie Gavin.

Selby would make sense for both parties. Hearn would've seen him first hand when he supported Frampton and it's long overdue that the Sanigars moved Selby out of the small halls. That should've become apparent to Selby himself seeing what Framption is doing first hand at the same age after the same number of fights. Although I've heard Selby himself say he'd like to fight back in Barry next so not sure about the ambitions there

"Despite wild rumours, one of the additions will not be Ricky Burns, VVarren's WBO lightweight champion, nor Vasyl Lomachenko, the Ukrainian Olympic gold medallist with whom Hearn was seen chatting at York Hall in Bethnal Green on Friday night, when the visitors took on the British Lionhearts in the World Series of Boxing."

"British champion? Perhaps. He'll be chief support on 20 April to Brian Rose at Blackpool – that'll be his first one out, and we'll do something with him in June."

I don't think Selby has to much going on up top outside of his boxing ability....no offence to the guys.

Selby is ranked by the IBF at No.15. He is mandatory for the European champions who is ranked No.3 by the IBF. Hearn has a good relationship with the IBF. The IBF champion Evgeny Gradovich is not anything special. Makes allot of sense.

Selby would be a lovely signing. Potential to be a world champion IMHO.

could do Selby vs Jon Sowley for the British on the Brian Rose card. Then European title in Cardiff with Ress vs Murray/Mitchell as the main event.
