Maybe if the fish-eyed old **** was a bit more forthcoming with information, and didn't have such a reputation for being a shifty, lying old ****, people wouldn't be so quick to judge him. Happy boxers don't leave good promoters.

I'm not saying he's a good promoter, theres no such thing, the hall of fame is absolutely full of the dodgy ****s.

****** has no obligation to share information about the day to day running of his company with you, me or anyone.

That's why he put Sports Network under and emerged under a new banner to avoid paying up. I don't know the ins and outs of the other things mentioned in this thread but Frank does have a history of keeping money back until a fighter has committed to future bouts. Fighters don't mind at the start, it's when the purses get bigger it's the problem. He also shafted the Millennium Stadium over the Kessler fight and owed them nearly 150k for stewarding/security costs at the time he put Sports Network under

Not saying he does, but as a promoter it's his job to have his finger on the pulse and to keep the fans sweet. In this instance he's failed quite substantially.

On a separate note, I did find it amusing at the end of the episode when Bunce says:

"Apologies are nothing, you know that. You need them, but they're rubbish"

Immediately after that remark, Frank apologises. Bad timing...

And you try and accuse me of bias towards Hearn. You realise people are sentance to like in prison for less evidence than you require?

On the Bunce ESPN podcast, Burns wasn't mentioned at all. Barrie Jones and Bunce were critical of George Groves for letting the fans down who bought tickets to see him March 16th.

By the way Groves has swapped tickets he sold personally for March 9th or refunded.

So ****ing what. What if people from the north wanted to see him and bought tickets on that premise. They didn't buy them from him personally did they?

    Vasquez ****ed about.
    Groves ****ed about.

Why would VVarren not want this show to go ahead? Please tell me why?

The only thing I see that he's done wrong is not answering the questions about refunds. The card has been postponed, what is the big ****ing crime?

Because I'm not hanging him without knowing any facts?

What has he actually done wrong?

    Cheeky Eddie re-tweeted it

His comments about not taking his fighters on the road were genius! Literally admitting he wasnt interested in his fighters getting real tests against the world best but happy palming them off as 'world' champions in there back yard and cash in on the mug fans.

And they wonder why people like Matchroom. Yes, Eddie's fighters lost to the best abroad but at least they went for it. (and probably made decent money doing it too).
