    1. A fully recovered Pacquiao who looked as impressive as he did for JMM 4
    2. Sergio Martinez at 160, or if Martinez is comfortable at 154lbs
    3. Robert Guerrero (May will win so whatever)
    4. The next top young lion i.e a Danny Garcia who is coming off a win against Matthyse at 140 and Devon Alexander at 147..

WHERE WOULD HE BE IN YOUR ATG rankings?

I know most of you rate Whitaker very high (so do I), but I want to start making any sort of case to make Mayweather higher (He's probably in the late 40's for me in terms of ATG Top 50 rankings)....so let's use Whitaker..

    Competition - Mayweather wins

    - When taking into account their opposition, think of their H2H ability more than their overall greatness - i.e Gatti is a hall of famer, but H2H ability isn't worthy.

Julio Cesar Chavez (A LITTLE past prime) vs A win over a RECOVERED Manny Pacquiao
. Let's not forget that Manny has a difficult style for Floyd as well. Manny had lost a little step too. A win over Manny is better.

Win over Azumah Nelson moving up to 135 vs a win over Juan Manuel Marquez (A prime 160 new-age JMM will still lose terribly to Mayweather) - Which win is better? Because it was such a complete shutout on another ATG, I prefer Mayweather's win.

Win over Buddy McGirt or a win over Jose Luis Castillo? (Don't talk about the first fight stuff - for those who don't know Mayweather had a torn rotator cuff very early on and could use that hand properly for the whole fight).

A DRAW (IMO a defeat by 1/2 points every time I watch it) against Prime Oscar De La Hoya or a win against a VERY past his prime Oscar De La Hoya? :nut Obviously the draw/arguable loss or win is better than beating past prime Oscar.
Btw..Prime Oscar beats Floyd. This win is a pillar that represents Whitaker's greatness.

Win over Julio Cesar Vasquez OR a win over Sergio Martinez (either at 160lbs or if Martinez is good at 154lbs) or Canelo-Trout winner?
This is a difficult one...(I prefer Vasquez over the Canelo-Trout winner though)

Win over Greg Haugen or win over Diego Corrales? I pick Corrales.

Win over Jose Luis Ramirez at the end of his long career or win over Miguel Cotto who looked as tough as ever on the night? - I pick the win over Cotto.

Win against Juan Nazario or win against Ricky Hatton?
I pick the win over Hatton.

Win over Anthony Jones or win over Genaro Hernandez? - G.Hernandez easy.

Whitaker's overall competition vs Mayweather's overall competition? Mayweather's easy.

    Head-To-Head
H2H ability against top competition from different ages: Whitaker > Mayweather
    H2H: Whitaker beats Mayweather
You can't have him H2H as virtually the best fighter..I prefer Hearns, Leonard and Napoles in terms of H2H ability in general and H2H against Whitaker. Don't argue with me here lol But Whitaker is one of the greatest in terms of H2H ability.

Skill level, Mayweather is genius, but Whitaker has a greater skill level.

    Longevity
Mayweather shits on Whitaker, who was a little past his prime by the age of 33. Mayweather has been a champion since 1998.

Mayweather also has done a lot for boxing i.e PPV figures etc.

Also: IF you hypothetically agree (whether you actually agree or not is a different story) with what I wrote, where would you rate Mayweather?

    W Manny Pacquiao
    W Sergio Martinez/Canelo-Trout Winner
    W Juan Manuel Marquez
    W Jose Luis Castillo
    W Miguel Cotto
    W Diego Corrales
    W Genaro Hernandez
    W Robert Guerrero
    W Danny Garcia
    W Ricky Hatton
    - Bitches better realise.
TRY NOT TO HAVE ANY BIAS..

I'd personally have Mayweather right next to Whitaker. i.e within a few spots at least.

That would be crazy. A major reshuffling would be in order. A former junior lightweight moving up and winning a record-tieing 4th lineal championship...

    **** yes.
    H2H Pac beats Chavez too

Pacquiao looked very impressive against Marquez 4. Go watch that fight and then go watch Pacquiao-Clottey or some other 08/09' kid.

Mayweather potentially Top 22 with these realistic fight matchups.

    Spread the story.

I'd hate for him to fight Pacquiao now. What a waste.

I think this is increasingly likely now.
If not, Mayweather has to suffer my judgement and he must stay in the late 40's and I'll put him down more perhaps for only taking big paydays against **** opponents like The 'Ghost'.

You'll love it once you watch a fight of Manny vs Rios, Manny lands the TKO 5 after taking some hard punches and then Manny looks laughably impressive against someone like Bradley...and you hear Jim Lampley screaming 'Oh my God, Manny has returned and Floyd MUST fight him'.

'93 Chavez would **** that Pacquiao up.

Seriously, Julio was looking excellent in those first few rounds against Pea, problem is he was facing Pea, who was a nightmare style up for ANYBODY coming up to 147lbs. That version of Pea would humilate any version of Pac. ****, that version of Julio would have destroyed Marquez as well.

and no, H2H, Chavez beats Pacquiao. Stops him at 130lbs and 135lbs.

Would be sort of embarrassing to take that fight now. Had already lost some luster way back in November of 2011.

Pea would **** Manny - I know, that's not the case I'm making. I can make the same case and be like Floyd ****s Chavez, because he would.
We have to agree to disagree on Chavez-Pac.

    Chavez
    De La Hoya [;)]
    Nelson
    Vasquez
    McGirt (x2)

May isn't passing Pea. I mean, if you want to crow about Nelson moving up five lbs and make it comparable to Juan's climbing two divisions then go ahead, whatever. I actually hold his wins over prime McGirt at 147 and prime Vasquez at 154 in higher esteem if only he hadn't utterly dominated Nelson, who rates higher than either in an ATG sense.
