What do you think guys....Team Canelo are pressing ahead with organising the PPV for September 14th.

Whats the rush? Trout is no joke if Canelo can blow through him all well and good but I don't believe it.

This is definitely a different way of approaching his career.

No waaaaay Canelo runs through him absolutely no way. If they were REALLY that confident in Canelo they would have matched him much better up to this point

His handlers know something.....he's good but he ain't THAT good!

It's gonna be a close fight.

Having a goal and a business plan in place is not the same as looking past an opponent. Lining up a venue and television distribution deal isn't easy, adding sponsors also takes time.

I expect a fully prepared, fully motivated Canelo to enter the ring.

Though I pick Trout to win, I have a feeling that this is exactly what will happen... Routing for Trout but if I am betting its going to be on Canelo doesnt make sense does it?

How come Cotto, Mayweather, Pacquiao have never done this? He has 5 months from the fight in April till 14th September he could organise all of this after he has won!

In any case dude is going to lose so this PPV wont see the light of day, Schaeffer is going to be saying "I TOLD YOU SO CANELO" :good

Plenty of other fighters have plans in the works, we just don't hear much about them. Sites and tv dates don't reserve themselves and promoters are always thinking one or two steps ahead. That is their job.

In my line of work, most people start looking for a new house to buy while theirs is still on the market. A good agent will always be looking forward.

In this case, I think Golden Boy might also be dangling a carrot for some extra motivation.

by "easy" im assuming that you mean canelo will beat trout by 22 points the way trout beat cotto?

    http://boxrec.com/media/index.php?title=Fight:1731206

how about you and me doing a lifetime esb ban bet that canelo doesnt beat trout by 22 points or by tko/ko?

because everyone here knows that youre not a real MODERATOR and can be lifetimed ban just like the rest of us here.

    now how about that bet?

    yeah.

    thats what i thought .

talking out of your ass because you have my foot shoved in your mouth.

    Canelo will easily beat Trout.

However this is Canelo's first real fight at 154, which is quite sad considering he's been a "Champ" for quite some time.
