A true bob and weave fighter will destroy any big tall heavyweight. It is what it is. Rocky Marciano was not even a good bob and weave fighter. Mike Tyson was the premier force in bob and weave.

you notice here his face was so close to the ground his lips kissed the canvas? He made Berbick look stupid. Marciano with that style and head movement will knock out Wladimir in 1-2 rounds.. just like he would Lennox,Vitali,Bowe,Tucker, or any body over 6'4.

The fact of the matter is styles make fights and any short fighter with head movement will destroy any tall fighter. The issue with Marciano is that his head movement was not elite. If Marciano had faster head and more fluidity in his timing he will knock out Lewis or Wlad easily. I don't really think Wladimir or Lewis could do well against a true bob and weaver. Case in point. Both Corrie Sanders and Hasin Rahman had great head movement against Wlad and Lewis and they both knocked out Wladimir and Lewis. The issue is that tall fighters will get scared against someone who is so low to the ground. I think the bottom line is. Rocky Marciano COULD beat Wladimir, but ONLY if he implemented the bob and weave peekaboo tactic of warfere.

 

Milkmen have to have a lot of functional strength, and not a single one ever backed Rocky up.

Sanders and Rahman had elite head movement? Since when? Rahman was a wide stance plodder and Sanders was a straight backed flurrier. Rahman knocked out Lennox because he caught him with a full body shot right on the jaw. Sanders beat Wlad because he aggressively came forward and never stopped punching. Neither man used elite head movement to accomplish their goals.
