I have to rate Terry just below all time great Keith Mullings :)
But, I will admit that when it comes to rating china chins, Terry is my #1 !! Kid Candle Nooris, one blow and he`s out !!!

he tried but it just wasnt enough. weak case to start with

as for you, you're no one to talk. Terry won easily and therefore gets all the bragging rights

Sugar couldnt handle the speed. a tuneup vs Nunn wouldve been nice prep. had he gotten past Mike (which I highly doubt) then he could go with the Norris fight

This is a fairly stupid statement, even for you, rooster.

The poverty of the punditry is not the issue here. The 'experts' get it wrong lots of times, usually as a result of groupthink or nostalgia or whatever.

Oscar was heavily favoured over Pac
    Lacy over Calzaghe
    Tyson over Douglas
    Foreman over Ali
    Liston over Clay

    etc.

Like I said, nothing to do with anything I said. They got it wrong.

    Proof is not necessary.

We can all see. Prime Leonard was faster.

I have no proof that Pac was faster than Hatton, no proof that Floyd was faster than Baldomir and no proof that Mosley was faster than Marg.

No proof necessary. We can all see.

    SRL was faster than Terry.

    Accept it, Rooster.

    Make peace with it.

    You'll find serenity and tranquility.

Only hardcore boxing fans knew who Norris was at this point. He had been stopped by Julian Jackson in 2 and beat a past prime/never really was that good anyway John Mugabi. He had stopped Mugabi in 1... but few felt he would beat Leonard.

    same scam as before

YOU accept it. My man won every round. what did your man do other than lose every round, get decked twice, and leave the sport w his tail between his legs. where do u come off where your arrogance, loser?

    "we can all see"

all you saw was Terry whipping ass and I must say I love the concept of seeing young talent come up and upsetting the applecart, the order of power

and while u dont like to admit it, the experts were wrong about their prediction which means were ALSO wrong about Norris and wrong about Leonard himself

    he simply couldnt handle speed

think of it this way, who would you rather fight; someone that doesnt hit hard and has little speed? or someone that hits hard and is fast?

Terry Norris W UD 12 Ray Leonard

make peace with it. embrace it. make love to it

As usual, Red ****, you're arguing a different point than the one in question. Nobody disputes that Norris won. I'm not a big fan of SRL. He's my least favorite of the fab four.

But he was greater than Norris, and faster in his prime. That's all I've said, and no student of boxing would dispute either of those points.

Now take your meds and have another nap.

    You'll soon feel better.

I'll take that as a surrender on your part, rooster.

You shouldn't flatter yourself that you were ever in a debate here, lad.

Great points !! And your giving a completely unbiased view point. Norris beat and old semiretired SRL. Does it mean anything that Marciano Ko`d Louis ?? Of course not...Rooster knows nothing about boxing and he can`t even answer a staight question on anything . Other than repeating my girl beat Leonard ...

Einstein everyone has told you that SRL was faster in his prime, mid to late 20`s. Not at 34... How blind and stupid are you ??? As for rankings in history, it`s not even a discussion. We`re all still debating where chinny lands amongst Mullings and the unbeatable Rosenblatt :)

who said I was bowing out? I'm right here dickhead, right in your face

what you really mean is that......

    YOU surrender :yep

    and that you're bowing out

having no facts in possesion makes one a toothless, pathetic adversary

    stick to the lounge section

I dont care about everyone. everyone told me Sugar would beat the tar out of "glass jawed" Norris

and how did that turn out for you? :D

Albert would declare that in the universe of boxing, Terry's hand speed had no equal

the use Sugar Ray leonard was but ONE comparison used as proof! :yep

Donald Curry was another in the match they called "Terry's confirmation of greatness"

both Sugar N Cobra Curry were considered the fastest until Norris N Jones came along, dominating the field of terrified opponents from then on

they smashed their enemies with impunity & broke their spirits

like Terry did with his, Roy did likewise with Hopkins N Toney

it was the SPEED that did it

even Meldrick could not keep up

its facts I'm interested in. anyone can make up their own historic rankings

have u noticed that not one of them is the same?

    U HAVE BEEN OWNED!
