Manny Pacman is an all time great boxer and still has lots of fights left in his tank but he was known for his aggressiveness, quickness and fast hands. If you want to get into a brawl with Pacman, you were going to lose because Pacman is like a street fighter. Nonito Donaire reminds me more of Marquez in that while be can come forward he relies on his counter punching ability. Nonito also has the bigger knockout punch with his left hook than Pacman. On April 13 we will find out more if this is the case because Rigo is a big challenge.
Maybe.....probably even. But latley Nonito has fallen in love with the one shot KO's and spends all night tryin' to load up for a big shot, instead of letting it come to him like he used to do more often.
pacq had a ton of skills , and no i dont think nonito is on that level. He's a different kind of fighter anyway.
There's quantity and quality with respect to skills. Donaire seems a bit more versatile and fundamentally sound, but Pacman has tested his skills against better quality. He had a bad stretch doing that, but I thought the Nishioka fight exemplified an adjustment correcting that. The Arce fight too.
LMFAO what kind of down syndrome question is this?? Nonito is light years ahead of Pacquiao in terms of skills, finesse, fundamentals, and ring smarts.. Pacquiao is just a gifted fighter with speed and power but technically/fundamentally, he's ****.. Nonito is the most skilled FIlipino fighter of all time and it's not even debatable.
No they're similar type fighters. Nonito' balance is a little better but overall they're probably equally skilled. Pac is the best pure fighting machine I've ever seen. A really brave warrior. Reminds me of Duran.
He hasn't been able to prove it against competition at the same level. If for example your jab is prettier fighting B+ fighters than another fighter's fighting A, I can't off the bat say you're automatically better equipped in that area. Nonito has better balance and fundamentals, but Pacquiao's timing, lateral footwork, dynamic offense, etc. has been tested at a higher level. No way can you say Nonito is multiple levels above him. Unconventional and flawed does not mean unskilled.
