You sound like the one with down syndrome. Nonito is light years better, based on what? Who has he beaten let alone competed with compared to Pac? If Pac is just speed and power who would have won between the two? If Pac is technically **** Nonito would have outboxed him right? You need to learn a little more about boxing, especially about offensive fighting. Pac is one of the best offensive fighters of all time and it's not just bc he was quick. You don't get anywhere in this sport with just raw talent.

Here's the thing though, kiddo.. First of all, skills aren't everything in boxing and it's not the only way to win fights. Fighting ability comes in many forms and whether one is a brawler, pure boxer, or a boxer-puncher, it's about who can implement their style better.. The one who can impose their style is the one who comes out victorious, feel me?? With that said, did I claim that Nonito is a greater fighter than Pacman?? I didnt.. All i mentioned was that Nonito is technically/fundamentally superior than Pacman.. The thread opener wanted to know who is more skilled and yes, Nonito is definitely more skilled.. Does that make him a better fighter? nope... but he does have more skills.. How do u think a prime Mayorga was able to beat the likes of 6head Lewis and Forrest?

Of course he did. He didn't rise to the peak of the sport just be "throwing punches fast". Pacquiao has a lot of tricks to maximize his Southpaw advantage. One he uses nearly every fight is slipping an orthodox jab and replacing the space created with a straight left hand. He's done this to Cotto, Barrera, and Marquez, top competitors. He sets it up by getting his lead foot on the outside and stepping rightwards. This content is protected He's also acquired the ability to catch a fighter leaning into their jab and throwing a counter right hook over it. After throwing, Manny either pivots to his right, or tricks his opponent into following him by stepping all the way to his left. He's walked a good few fighters into his left hand that way. Throwing combinations to the head and body as fluidly as he does takes skill. Straight left to the body, right hook to the body and up top, that quirky power jab he implements into his combinations; Those all take skill to execute with proper form. Especially while moving laterally. Then we can have a conversation on who is more skilled. Until then, Manny's skills have been better tested.

Not really.. Being slick has nothing to do with it.. If one is athletically gifted like Roy for instance, then slickness comes naturally but that's not necessarily skills because he was just born with it.. It's simple.. Knowing how to hit without getting hit by using fundamentals is skills.. Think of James Toney....
Technically / fundamentally Nonito may be more sound, but in terms of pure skill there's no reason to believe hes better. Pac has proven his skills against way, way better opposition and he's shown a full skillset , front to back. Pacquiao is not Mayorga. You need to check what your watching. Pacquiao isn't some mindless brawler, he operates behind a very underrated skillset, and the **** he does in the ring is all put together beforehand in the gym. Look at the way he uses angles and feints to create openings. Look at his combination punching - he's one of the greatest of all time at that . He's a very good counter puncher. A lot of his knockdowns / KO's were made off of counter punches.
