I'm holding back because at this moment, I would probably put Pea in at 135 over The Almighty. I change up... And right now, I'm getting off on Whitaker's ability and skillset.

or none of'em. haven't quite sorted it out yet. Maybe Ward will change my perception of this weightclass.

As awesome as Pea was at 135lbs, i would have to say my favorite performances by him were at 147lbs..McGirt 2/Chavez. :deal

It's tough, man. He had some seriously dominant performances at 135: Nelson, Haugen, Ramirez II amongst others. He became an ATG when he unified the division, especially now in hindsight since it hasn't been done since. But it was when he moved up that he really solidified his P4P credentials: Chavez, McGirt x2, Vasquez, DLH (arguably).

His greatest performances were at 135lbs for sure.

I think Pea beats Duran at 135. I'll be a plaspheme here and suggest Duran might be a bit overrated at that weight. Whitaker beat better guys at 135, and his style would have given Duran absolute fits. He'd have nothing to combat it.

Don't have any issues with anyone picking pea, but he didn't beat better fighters.Buchanan and Dejesus(and Marcel if you include it)comfortably trump Pea's best at the weight imo, which would be Nelson and probably Roger mayweather.

Yes, Duran clearly beat better lightweights than Pea. Buchanan alone.
