There's really nothing boring about Austin Trout. I wouldn't say he's all that hyped around here. Stylistically he'd be a very big threat to Mayweather and I think he's got just what it takes to upset Floyd.
I thought he beat Cotto convincingly, as did Floyd. I just think with the style and the physical attributes, and the fact that he works behind a very educated jab, the aging Floyd would struggle big time.
People see one fight vs a shot Cotto and now he's Marvin Hagler:roll: People need to watch all his fights to see how ordinary and boring Trout pillow fisted self is, the dumb thing is he won no more than 7 rounds vs the noodled armed right throwing little man, I laugh at the fuss he getting
For me, Mayweather 116-112 Cotto Trout 114-114 Cotto ...and although Trout looked quite comfortable at times (perhaps more so than Mayweather did all night, despite the R-B-R distribution of points on my card) it was a visibly less fired-up Cotto.
