I'd agree with IB in the fact that Trout had an easier time, while Floyd won more rounds all in all, and Floyd quite obviously faced the hungrier Cotto. I just believe Trout has the physical tools and skillset to trouble Floyd, and then some.
Fair enough. :good Trout would give Mayweather a taste of his own medicine, indeed - but conversely Mayweather would give Trout an overdose of it. Besides youth and raw athleticism, Mayweather would have the edge across the board in skills and experience and IQ. I'm not sure his hand speed is slowed enough yet that you can even call Trout faster, either.

Not sure about that. I think Floyd's quick enough to get the better shots off to the body and head. But it would be a bit of a messy fight, jabs running into each other, Floyd trying to get past that lead hand, etc.
