Does Nonito Donaire Have More Skills Than Pacman?

Donaire is more skilled.

Pacquiao is more talented.

Pretty obvious.

 

JMM, Morales and Barrera were maybe not as fast but at least they were proven elite boxers, im not saying Donaire is a bum but people are under rating Pacquiao to much ever since his last fight

This idea that if a boxer is more of a inside fighter and is willing to exchange shots he will lose against a more technical boxer couldn't be farther from the truth.

If a fighter has more conditioning, and stamina, he will overwhelm a technical boxer with his energy. Look at Andre Berto for example.

If you have a pretty jab fighting mediocre fighters, you're still not beating the most rugged-looking fighter in the top 10 of your decision. Who's more skilled? The guy that wins on rough and rugged aggression or the guy that learned to use a nice-looking tool which only works for him against lesser guys?

 

Tell me how Donaire beats COttto at 146 tell me how Donaire beats Margarito at 150, tell me how Donaire KO's Hatton in 2

 

Pacquiao is just better than Donaire at this point in his career period.

 

Not to take anything away from Pacquiao but Hatton wasn't the same man he was when he fought mayweather.

I'm not saying these aren't good technical boxers, but I look at who they lost to compared to who Nishioka and Narvaez lost to. I look at the style in which they were defeated also. No one has ever walked through Nishioka or Narvaez except for Nonito Donaire.

Pacquiao doesn't like it to the body. Cotto gave him trouble and so did Margarito. All that aggression would work in Rigondeux's favor and Pacquiao would run into shots all night trying to hit Rigondeux on the chin.

 

So anyone can hit him there at will without getting hit themselves? Including a guy with 12 fights?

 

He has 400 amateur fights. Go watch some of them and then you'll see why I say he'd beat Pacquiao.
