He was more comfortable and on my card won 2 more rounds than Floyd did without ever being effected by Cotto's pressure, co-signing your comfortable argument. Cotto was geared up for the fight man. Stop trying to take away from Trout's accomplishment. Cotto wanted the big money from a Canelo fight, Trout took away that energy with his body attack and the jab that constantly was touching Cotto when he tried to work his way in discouraged him. Hell the late body shot had him looking for a way out, if the ref wouldn't have incorrectly stopped the action.
Trout was never buzzed by any show from Cotto, hell Cotto didn't land any left upstairs cleanly. Trout is most definitely better than Cotto. Cotto fought the only way Trout would allow him to, which is why Trout is the better fighter.
you fool i know it was a 9-9 round you scored one of the rounds badly everyone even said to you it was bad musta changed like you should change your Trout - Cotto scorecard 114-114 you probably had Rios beating Abril
I gave Bogere the 3rd, 4th, 6th, and 7th - and in none of those was I alone. Which exactly are you having a problem with? You seemed pretty damn sure of yourself claiming the 8th, being it was Abril's clearest - except now maybe it was something else? You're talking **** and don't even know wtf you're talking about. Get yourself organized. No, ******.
I actually was talking about this fight the other night and I think it would be a tough match Trout still needs a few more wins vs top guys to show me he can do it as far as Cotto goes he beat him by a similar margin as Floyd but took way less punishment and made it look much easier
Oh I see what you're talking about now. Do you mean the 10th? I edited that post within two seconds of submitting it. It did originally say 10-9 Bogere for a brief moment. Those two posts quoting me came within a minute and it was already changed by then as you can see. When I'm doing a RBR, I always copy the name of the boxer with the longer/harder to spell name so I don't have to type it out each time, to be faster & more efficient and spare myself typos. I get in the habit of just hitting the control+v buttons to paste it where needed. In the 7th, which I gave Bogere, I pasted his name instead of typing "10-9 Bogere". In the 8th even though consciously thinking Abril I absent-mindedly pasted again instead of typing out "10-9 Abril". As soon as I hit submit I realized the mistake and immediately fixed it, but not before a couple of people quoted me. It happens sometimes. Whatever. ****, making me reveal trade secrets. Got anything else to say?
Trout was clearly running early on and was defensive looking shaky after a few lefts, not out on his feet but clearly bothered As far Trout allow Cotto to do what he allowed him to, how come Trout allowed Cotto to box his head off in the middle rounds, and style and profile like Cotto was Pernell Whitaker or something
Trout wasn't running at all it is called movement. He didn't look shaky at all, so again, stop making up **** that never happened. Cotto never outboxed Trout at all in the fight. The only thing you might say is that Cotto outworked Trout when Trout took his foot off the gas, that has more merit because of how through Trout returned and then destroyed Cotto's confidence and will.
A Cotto who couldnt even pull the trigger on his jab wins 5 rounds vs Trout but Mayweather cant beat him:roll:
:good i don't understand why people can't grasp the psychological difference between fighting floyd vs fighting a fairly unknown (at the time) austin trout. i get that boxers are "always" motivated to win every fight, but it's PFP #1 FMJ. if a boxer DOESN'T go harder than ever to try and be the guy who can say they beat FMJ, then there's a problem there.
Since the consensus seem to think he dominated Cotto, can yall please show me a video some gifs, more than 3 would Trout had Cotto bothered Because from what I remember this is what I seen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzhy6ofzMac A close fight in which Cotto landed the hardest shots and had Trout buzz on many occasions early on, Cotto just fought a dumb fight a tried to blow him out too early, by the time where he started to box and move effectively he was already fighting on fumes, and then Trout started to let them pillows go. Ugly match no domination and closer than people hype it, for whatever agenda they are trying to subtly slide under the rug, it was a ugly snore fest like 90% of Trout fights with rounds hard to judge.................. Ill wait for videos of this Trout domination or multiple gifs, of some of Trouts work since yall are seeing something I didnt:hi:
Trout would not be able to impose his 10 pound weight advantage on floyd because of his style. So saying that trout would outbox ATG Floyd is s big statement.
