Neither do I. But he always seems to do enough and disrupt fights. I don't think he is ELITE level. But he is underated for what he is. If he fights like he did against Bailey, with the movement, although he was far from great against an awful opponent, it will be enough to beat Kell Brook. Kell Brook will have to match the footwork and keep up, whilst bringing it and throwing punches in bunches.....That isnt Kell Brook though is it? Kell Brook is a patient fighter, not a "go get it" fighter. And Alexander will build a points lead before Brook even knows it. The fight will get away from him.
If he does loses to Alexander then it's back to the drawing board. I wouldn't completely write him off but it would admittedly be a huge setback for his career. He'd likely have start at the bottom all over again. Khan though can just shut the **** up. He still has this "I only fight world class opponents. Kell Brook's not fit to eat my shite" attitude when he's facing a bum in Carlos Molina and a shot old man in Diaz, whilst still harping on about how great he is. It's no wonder so many want Brook or someone else to punch his face in.
You know thats all bull****. :good Amir Khan has been in with world level fighters, and is having a few "easy" fights with a new trainer before going again. Kell Brook aint ever fought world level, and has only been domestic level. So Amir Khan does have a point, and I aint his biggest fan.
I think Kell Brook's main advantage is his accuracy, I don't know too much about the technical side of boxing but Alexander seems to do best against guys who throw alot of punches or depend on power to get a knock out, his best wins are Maidana, Matthysse (no need for debate, plenty of other threads for it) Bailey and Urango, his worst performances being Bradley and Kotelnyk and both fighters are more accurate than powerful. I don't think Brook is brilliant, but what I've seen of both of them I rate him over Alexander.
Not happening. He wouldn't get that fight in UK and imo loses. Malinaggi maybe but it probably won't be long til someone takes that off him. Carson Jones could have got that win vs. Brook at the end of the day.
Brook's fight vs Alexander is massive for him, if he was to lose and put on a **** performance, he will back fighting below average opponents in sheffield. A win though? The world is his oyster.
Definitely right. That's why I can't understand why so many seem to want him to lose? If he wins it'll set up some boss fights for the future, if he loses then it ruins all that. Even if you don't rate him and think he'll lose, get behind him and hope for the best.
From what I know about Diaz,he's as good as anyone Kells ever fought.Agree with Craneys post here that says Khan has fought world class men Got to give credit where its due,he's been doing it for a few years now.IMO the last man Khan fought would be a good, hard replacement forCarson Jones against Purdy. And I bet he'd have taken the fight.Rant over, back to the topic. Much as I would like to see it,can't see Price winning the world, maybe the Euro.Same with Barker.Who exactly are Darren and Macklin going to dethrone?Same with Frampton a d Quigg, some talent in that division.
PS Home advantage gives Alexander the edge IMO.I think again the British media are underrating an American.Look what he did to Urango.I hope they don't tell us he can't punch.
yeah true i know Khan is gonna get knocked out again in the future so i dont mind when he talks **** because its just gonna make him getting knocked out much more fun to watch
