I'm sorry, but there's a BIG difference in class here, the greatest middleweight of all time imo, against a light middle who was good on his night but very inconsistant. It may take Monzon a couple of rounds or so to work out Norris and his speed but once he does it's a total outclassing.

    Monzon KO 6.

    This guy is a Grade A ****.

  3. Why when you don't agree with someone do you have to take such an aggresive tone? Why can't you ever debate with reason?

Rooster doesn`t reason at all, and his responses are borderline inappropriate/weird...Check out some of his responses...

  5. Oh I know he's strange! Xplosive isn't strange he's just rude and aggresive.

Well to be honest i'm struggling to find a politer response to anyone who seriously thinks Norris would beat Monzon. Perhaps silly.

  7. We all disagree with rooster we've established that, my comment isn't really in relation to what rooster said, I would have questioned Xplosive no matter who he was talking to because he is always ultra aggresive and I'd like to get to the bottom of his internal anger and help him improve as a human being.

I know Monzon was one of the elite middleweights but like they say, STYLES make fights and Monzon was more a boxer than anything

most here have visions of Jack Johnson towering over Ketchel, bad mistake

In fact, I think Monzon's in serious trouble here

    why?

becuz for one, Terry has nearly the same dimensions and only a couple pounds lighter. we're not talking Ruben Carter here. Monzon was a finesse guy all the way

remember Griffith Tiger. Remember Robinson Lamotta. Remember Leonard-Hagler

next is the fact that Norris had no issues with stamina himself being so supremely condititoned

add to that all his advantages in speed, & Terry's determination, PLUS all his wins over name fighters (never met a name fighter he couldnt beat) PLUS Terry's defense & ability to tie up which most here have discounted

so u cant count of Norris being a piece of cake and we know for sure this is going the distance becuz Monzon cant match his hand speed and he dont have the one punch power of Julian Jackson (see Buster Drayton + Herol Graham)

He is up against a man who has decimated other outstanding champions as he himself has done.

think about it and you'll see I'm right

gotcha ! At the end of the day, these are all just OUR opinions. Makes for great debates, and most of the time ,everyon has good points to make. Some, a bit delusional but interesting as well. While we might get passionate there`s no sense in getting hostile ... I had a guy a while back calling me mongoloid , kind of sad ...
