Guerrero didn't look all that intimidated to me...he just looked like a guy who isn't into ****-talking trying to keep up with the ultimate **** talker in FMJ.
This You have to strut, repeat yourself over and over and talk loud to prove you're not intimiated? LOL ***** talk
Mayweather would talk even more ****. He's got an aggressive nature regardless and only tends to hold his tongue when he fights respectful warriors like JMM and Cotto.
I don't see what people saw honestly. Floyd was scared to put hands on Guerrero. He ran his mouth, but he was scared to cross the line.
A Floyd's fan definition of toe to toe differs greatly to the average boxing fan. I don't consider jabbing for 6-7 rounds, and then going against the ropes and covering up 2 rounds when you know your 6 or 7 points up on the cards, followed by then give fans a token good last round because your opponent is getting desperate as going toe to toe. Morales Barrera is toe to toe, Pacquiao v Morales is toe to toe, some rounds of Pac V MArquez is toe to toe...Guerrero v Berto, Alvarez V Rios is toe to toe - do you see the difference Like I said, our interpretation is different
What the **** does it matter? This is boxing hit and not get hit is the name of the game and PBF is the master at it.:deal If you want toe to toe watch tough man. People like you kill me and act as if a guy doesn't go toe to toe he's somehow less of a fighter ****ing hilarious.
He respected them and neither would have popped him in the mouth. It's not the way they're wired. PBF trash talks guys who he doesn't like examples Hatton, Oscar, Mosley, Victor, Gatti and now Guerrero.
Ok *****, read what the point was. I didn't say I wanted toe to toe firstly, which makes most of your post pointless. I also never said you're less of a fighter, every fighter should fight to their strengths. Leonard is one of my all time favourites and he wasn't a toe to toe fighter (though he could do it if needed) I was responding to the previous poster who said Floyd was the one who initiated that toe to toe comment. I said he didn't, though I was wrong Mayweather did mention it and Guerrero said ok but we all know Mayweather won't do that... Anyway that's all I said! I know Floyd is the best defensive boxer, and I think he would be stupid to go toe to toe because it's not his style, it's what Guerrero would want.
Who the **** cares? That's not PBF's style. How many toe to toe wars was Pea Whitaker in? How many boxing lessons did he dish out? What about Willie Pep? Engaging in toe to toe battles shows a lack of overall boxing ability because bet your ass if they could school guys like PBF, Pea and Pep could without getting hit they would do the same.:deal You sound like a ****ing idiot new to the sport, thinking toe to toe battles are the end all be all in boxing when in reality it couldn't be further from the truth.
