Anyone else think that Hopkins vs. Cloud might turn out to be an ugly boring fight?

Cloud doesn't have what it takes to beat Hopkins even at his age, but at the same time I also see Hopkins fouling and spoiling the fight and win a very boring decision. I hope I'm wrong but with Hopkins I really don't know what to expect but more likely it's not going to be a pretty fight.

Not at all. I expect this fight to be very good. Well as far as Hopkins fights go. Cloud is so technically flawed that Hopkins will have a hayday with him. He is going to punish Cloud but towards the end of the fight will slow down due to Clouds pressure.

Hopkins stoppage in this one is not out of the question for me.

 

As the fight draws near I'm thinking this wont to the distance. :think

The way I see it,if you can't take anything from a guy at that age getting by on phenomenal boxing IQ then you're probably not quite the hardcore fan you think you are.
Hopkins is the Leonard Cohen of boxing.Old and an acquired taste,but hugely enjoyable for those who acquire said taste.

 

Hopkins is gonna try to make it as ugly as he can like he did with Dawson

Hopkins time has run out i feel, and i think he is gonna supplement rough house tactics to substitute what he has lost

i think Cloud is gonna wear down and maybe even stop Hopkins late

 

I still rank him as the best fighter of my lifetime(from the boxing I have seen)I started in 2000.

 

Zaveck and Thruman is going to be a awesome, though. I'm surprised there isn't more excitement about that fight.

 

Hopkins is the personifcation of by hook or by crook :deal but with Cloud there won't be a need to spoil much given that Cloud is made for Hopkins stylistically and if Hopkins failed to win it would only confirm he's shot to high ****.

 

I think Hopkins is going to roll back the years, and on top of that he's going to completely change his style - he's going to throw out the usual defense and spoiling tactics and go for the bob and weave a al Frazier or Tyson. Gonna be a great fight. :/
