It's not on PPV, HBO probably didn't break the bank investing in the fight (which IMO is kind of a mistake given it's potential historic importance), and none of the fighters have a big following in New York. The numbers are definitely low but I can see why. Poor Zaveck. I favor Thurman but I'd be happy if Zaveck won.
Hopkins making good bank for a fight that doesn't mean much beyond being a legacy booster. Campillo showed us that Cloud was over hyped and severely flawed. Hopkins should pick up where the spaniard left off.

Nope. Not at all. I was referring more to the main event and overall low numbers. Zaveck is getting shafted and Thurman is being given the golden prospect treatment. He said he's going to back Cloud up. But funnily enough Richardson forbade him from watching a tape of his fight with Campillo so as to not underestimate him. So I think he'll pick up where he left off but by coming to the conclusion of that game-plan on his own.
Really if Haymon wants to "keep it real" and rep the cats who are truly "hood" - Zaveck would fit his stable, dude probably grew up poorer than Thurman. :deal
we dont know SES wanted that Zaveck fight there instead of USA... But Zaveck still thinks he can be champion in the USA and be a main event on HBO
