The issue isn't he's avoiding the other lightweights, it's he's avoiding 140. Is he going to go back down in weight after he beats Paulie?

I'm not saying he's avoiding anybody. I'm still skeptical that this fight is even going to happen. But personally my issue is Broner is just doing this new school bull****, where you go to a division, fight one guy and then move up or skip other divisions without establishing a legacy or dominance over a division.

As a fan of Broner, wouldn't it be nice to see him as undisputed, Lightweight Champion at the start of 2014. And then go on to beat the Ring Champ at 140? Instead we'll see him maxed out at the highest weightclass his body will allow at the age of 24 and would have missed out on all the big fights in the weight classes below him

Is he actually fighting Malignaggi? I thought all that talk was a joke, that would be a terrible move

I don't care to see the fights, but I wouldn't bet against Paulie in any of those fights, I would favor him over any of those guys.

I am not worried about his legacy all these guys are around the same size. Paulie would beat the three guys at 135 so why would I get upset that Broner is taking on a harder fight if he is ready? I think he should stay at 135 for another year and work on his craft but I understand that he has a family to feed and people to answer to.

He is not missing out of fights at 140 all of those guys can easily go to 140 and will if the money is right and it will be.
