For the people saying "seems kind of low for Hopkins," his fights have not drawn well outside of the Pascal affairs in the recent years. Aside from that, doesn't he have some sort of position at Golden Boy?

 

He drew ok against Dawson in the rematch. The only two that didn't really were when they had him fighting on the West coast against Jones the 2nd time and Dawson the 1st time.

Asses are usually in seats at B-Hop's fights on the East coast.

 

It's a decent purse for Hopkins, bearing in mind he is on regular HBO, coming off of a loss and neither he or Cloud brings a huge fan base.

true.. most people that i know that still tune in to B-hop fights are 40+ years old.

just find it strange that he's getting the same amount of money as Rigondeaux's next purse.
