Taking a shot every time B-Hop commits a foul would make a jack-hammer of a hangover Sunday morning.

 

What I like about Roy's commentary is that he keeps his bias in check. When one of the other guys mentioned some of Bernard's dirty tricks, instead of blasting BHop for the acting job he did in their rematch, he just chuckles and says Bernard's a veteran and knows every trick in the book.

 

Michael Jackson's laugh is/was the most purest laugh I ever heard.

This is a pretty classic Royism:

Either Papa or Lampley will ask Roy a question like:

"Roy is what ___________'s doing right now "insert phrase here"?

Roy : "No, it not (repeats phrase exactly the same way it's asked of him), HOWEVER I think that (something)."

So an example would be :

Papa: "Roy, is throwing a lead left hook like shitting into a toilet after eating three bags of applesauce?"

Roy: "No, it's not like shitting into a toilet after eating three bags of applesauce, HOWEVER if you were to eat some RHUBARB, then it would be like that"

Or "Roy, can ________ turn things around and _________? Should he be trying to ________?"

"Well I think he can/should, but he needs to _________ , and ________ isn't letting him do that, because he's making him worry about ________"


This could actually turn into a really ****ed up fill-in-the-blanks game.
