This is the same organisation who prided itself on credibility ever since Liston vs Ali 2. All you need in boxing is a xx-0 and a ton of money and you'll be ranked.

I thought SBW would have gotten ranked with his regional belt.....

What do you think of de Mori's #15 ranking based on him only beating washed up journeymen like Calloway, Weida and Reed? Do you really think he's earned it?

There are hundreds of fighters out there fighting way in obscurity with the talent, heart and willingness to fight tough opponents who deserve to be ranked ahead of Mark,I know that Mark isn't responsible for his being ranked so high, that's between the WBA and his promoter, however he couldn't seriously think that he deserves to be there.

This also applies to Lepai and his ranking from the WBO.

Funny, with a user name like dominator you would have sworn he'd have an opinion on that question above.

He's fought slightly better competition than Richard Towers in all honesty.

That just means they both shouldn't be ranked where they are.

Towers' entire pro career fits inside a 3 year window - June 2009 to June 2012. He's certainly flattered by his ranking based on his opponents, but in his defence he hasn't been at it that long.

By contrast de Mori has been fighting mismatch after mismatch for 9 years.

    Featuring what?

What is the point of this thread?

I'm guessing since you posted it here in Aussie, you're referring to Mark De Mori being #15?

    Must you be so cryptic?
