Ward is a boring, dumb, religious *****. It doesn't matter how good he is in the ring, because nobody gives a **** about him.

Not really, they both lost to the two best fighters they faced and struggled against questionable opposition (Kessler got dropped by Green and Froch had a close fight against post-prime Johnson). They're overrated.

No offense Brits don't have the right to call anyone arrogant. I have to read BS articles on the telegraph every day about Poles, Lithuainians, Bulgarians, Muslim immigrants as bad people well in fact a look at any independent think tank would show you those groups are more economically and educationally successful than your most integrated whites here in the US. Maybe it's not people that are bad, the colonial British ideas of races, but your laws that suck.

Yet say nothing of creating conflicts in these countries. The doublespeak of when Brits who dodge visas in Aussie or tax here as BS real estate agents in LA, go to Dubai or Kuwait to work are known as 'expats' but immigrants who work as doctors, bankers, barristers in your country are known as 'migrants;' slightly better than say NL where Morocans of third generation are still identified as 'moroccan' on their birth certificates. It's completely BS, and to me shows a people who never lost the arrogance of empire (it is still unbelievable despite all the unnecessary BS PC I see in the UK that the term 'half caste' is socially acceptable for a kid like me).

You guys don't even support your own athletes. Hamed, Benn, Khan, Farrah. No offense unless he's not white, he's not accepted. Hell might even go as far as saying if he's not English he isn't accepted.

This notion is rampant in America that the welfare states of Europe are the answer to our problems. Coming from a dual immigrant background I really really disagree. Americans on the whole are very open, down to earth people, who seldom accept entitlement, and work agressively to protect what they earn. The average American is poor as shitt. No healthcare, only 25% have a college education, education is expensive up the wazoo, poor public transportation, infastructure, poor labor rights, least hours off in the developed world/productivity. This is a nation of immigrants that has worked to build this nation up and the overwhelming majority of Americans realize and empathize with the struggle of their fellow Americans. Whether that's saving $1 in your local grocer from an advert or some kid who gave up everything to achieve his dreams in coming up in boxing, we refuse to give it up so easily.

I get that same sense with a lot of Euro fighters. Notice and it will be bigger in the coming years, that the biggest fighters won't be from white or Western European backgrounds, but Eastern European and immigrants backgrounds. These people are some of your least entitled, and they have the hunger to make it. If you have to jump through holes to get into a country or come up at the top of a popular sport in America, expect some gratification and defense is all I'm saying

It's not and that's an extreme deduction of my statements, but the idea that Americans are somehow more arrogant than Europeans, especially Brits, is really laughable not laudable.

This guy Ward gets hated so much. He didn't beat those guys one after the other because he sucks or he was lucky. The same way Garcia didn't land a 'lucky' hook on Khan. These guys reproduced their success (as did Kessler, Froch, Khan). Give them their due that's all.

The more time you spend on ESB the more you'll realize what you said is true. The brits, despite having **** all fighters to brag about, are easily the loudest, most idiotic, deluded fans on the board. It's true they used to be THE empire many years ago. They lost the power over the years, but kept the ego. They are the collective equivalent of a skinny kid who talks a lot of **** and can't fight, but for whatever reason thinks he's a tough guy despite everything pointing to the contrary.

They can't seem to accept their own mediocrity. This is why they hype up every fighter like a potential GOAT; it's an attempt at a shortcut back to a position of prominence, a shortcut that doesn't work.

Its isn't, trust me. Have you been to the UK? How do you know if its socially acceptable or not?
