Jose Napoles vs Tito Trinidad

all jose..all day.

takes some decent shots along the way but his lateral movement starts to tell the tale about halfway through the fight.

his left hook lands first and he drops tito with a right hand in the 10th. tito lasts to the bell but the winner is never in doubt

 

i can see this as well :good the movement, counters and superior handspeed are way too much for tito to overcome

unless napoles loses on cuts as always :rasta

I like Tito a lot, Tito carries heavy hands and should be favored to beat almost anyone he can hit.

And that is the problem - Mantequilla is too smooth to be easily whipped and battered so I see Tito losing this competitive and entertaining fight by UD.

Given the fits that Oscar De Lahoya gave Felix "Tito" Trinidad with his sharp lateral movement early on in their fight before losing the controversial decision at 147 and given the same exact fits that Bernard Hopkins gave Trinidad in their fight with the exact same blueprint before knocking "Tito" out at 160 I can't see Trinidad overcoming what would be even more superior lateral movement and footwork being displayed from the great Jose "Mantequella" Napoles whose footwork and lateral movement was several shades better than that of De La Hoya and Hopkins. Napoles being a great all around fighter, a great 15-round fighter and a natural Welterweight with those exact strenghts that he was known for displaying would've no doubt made "Mantequella" Napoles the betting favorite in this one.

 

Napoles has the skill but he's coming to Tito who has the height/range/power and athleticism in this match up. So I'm not too sure on this one
