What the hell is David Haye doing?

Lets be fair. Who else besides the klitschkos would trouble him? We saw how easily he disposed of chisora and valuev. There's very little out there that comes close to him talent wise, and I say that not as a fan.

 

if he cared about having a legacy, he would keep fighting, unfortunately he's only about money

i guess that David came to the conclusion that getting bitten by malaria-riddled mosquitos in the jungle is safer than a boxing ring

 

Wlad ruined him. Haye will never be the same.

 

He seems pretty happy where he is, wife & kids, millions in the bank, lifestyle of luxury.

I'd like to see him fight again a few more times but if he can only get motivated for Vitali then so be it. He's injury prone so I guess only a huge fight would be worth it to him.

His style is based on athleticism so it's understandable if he would rather spend the twilight of his career being a husband and a dad rather than getting plastered all over the ring by C/D level boxers RJJ style.

 

He has dedicated his life to boxing. If he wants to enjoy the fruits of his labour than good on him.

He doesn't owe anything to anyone, but it is a sad waste of talent.

 

Haye is a businessman, a actor .. you really think he has a chance against any Top Ten boxer?? Why?? Because he beat a bum like Chisora? Because he made hit and run vs. Walujew and made him shake for a second??

He knows, that he will be beaten up like a schoolboy against other Top 10, like against Wladimir or Solis, Thompson.

But he is smart .. he makes a little bit show, earns a lot of money with that and lives a calm life somewhere at the beach. With the money from the Wlad and Chisora fight, he earned more than all ESB members together in two lifes. He dont need big cars, houses etc. like Holyfield, Tyson .. he knows how to deal with money.

So what is he doing right now? Probably sitting on the beach and drinking some cocktails.

Let's not rate the Valuev win that highly shall we? The Chisora win was decent enough to be fair.

Travelling,golf, making TV appearances.

What part of "Im retired, the only fights Ill fight are against the Klitschkos" is so hard to understand.

Unless he gets a Klitschko or gets a bhuge money domastic fight, the guys retired. Simple as that

 

Chisora overyhped? He wasn't hyped at all. The media was SO Haye biased. Chisora is ten times then man that Haye ever was. Chisora beat Helenius (we all know it) he fought Fury and Vitali consecutively. No other fighter came close to fighting 3 or more ranked fighters in a row and giving his all in each. Chisora did better against Vitali than Haye did against Wlad. The only reason Haye beat Chisora was because Chisora was worn down. Haye was off for a year vacation while Chisora was acyually fighting.
