He's a heavyweight that's essentially retired after 28 fights at the age of 31. He's dishing out retirement ultimatums like that is the norm. It isn't. Come into the real world.

Yet bums like Pianetta, Wach and a shot Mormeck get shot for what? Why did Wlad face a guy who Haye had knocked out. Wlad is a disgrace and doesnt like challenging fights.

Vitali was the one running his mouth first about knocking Haye out and had no intention on keeping his word. He ducked Haye to fight a bum in Charr and is running into retirement because he knows he will get knocked out.

Yes but they never had a shot. Haye already had his chance and failed terribly.

You don't see Mormeck crying about wanting another instant shot do you?

But he's not doing it like 'it's the norm' you just made that up. He's issuing an ultimatum that if he doesnt fight Vitali he's retiring because it's not worth his effort (more in actually having to promote these non personalities to make good money). He's a grown ass man and a two weight world champion. That is the real world. Boxing is the wild west every man for himself

Please explain how losing to the #1 in the division means you cannot fight the #2 shortly afterwards

The haters can say all they want but Haye is still the biggest threat out there for Wlad and team Klitschko know this. Why not shut up Haye for good in the rematch or does Wlad want to keep taking bum fights.

RTL Klitschko's tv network want Haye vs either Klitschko again.

You're talking as if what he's doing is the norm. What other fighters are doing this?

Bernard Hopkins is 48 with 62 fights behind him and look what he's doing tonight. He's a real fighter with boxing in his blood.

What a pathetic thing to say, ****ing keyboard warrior!

The guy was the man at cruiser and chose to move up and grab a title at heavy. "**** all of a fighter in him"... Did you only start watching boxing in 2008?

Hopkins is fighting who he can fight for money. You dont think Hopkins prices himself out of fights too and there aint some contenders he could have fought instead LOL. Pascal, Pavlik, Cloud - All champions, all stiff with little skill = Hopkins risk analysis.

Yes Hopkins is more of a quote unquote 'fighter' than Haye but he still operates in the same fashion just not in the style that Haye is doing it in. And you have to analyse the different markets (weights) they operate in. Haye is aware there is a dearth of talent and marketable fights so is playing his cards that way. Hopkins knows there are ripe fighters for the picking at light heavy who can draw home crowds, so he plays his cards that way. It's deeper than somebody being a ***** or not a fighter or whatever you want to call it.

LOL I swear on my life that was not on purpose, even though it seems that way because it highlights my point. But that is very fair point. Though still to be fair to me Dawson was a champion and Hopkins made bank from it - it was a PPV. I'm pretty sure he made more money than Dawson off those fights (maybe not the second)
