So how exactly does that make me a nuthugger? You just agreed with what I said.

And this isn't even a nuthuggin thread.

I just posted that Lewis is doing very well past boxing and he changed his hairstyle completely.

Lennox Lewis had the most successful career of all the heavyweights in the 90s and early 2000s. Mike Tyson didn't take care of his career well and associated with the wrong people. Holyfield has gotten into too many wars in his prime, and suffered from a condition which made him lose his energy. Riddick Bowe couldn't control his weight properly and damaged his abilities. It was only Lennox Lewis who kept working hard and stayed consistent. Consistency is very important for longevity in boxing. Best Heavyweight in terms of overall career since Larry Holmes.

There is no bigger fan or friend of Lennox than me but I have to say this..
Yes it was a very lucky punch that McCall caught Lennox with. He had his eyes shut when he swung. But its the punch you dont see coming that KO's you. Watch the tape again closely, look at Lennox eyes. They are glassy he was out of it, Sure he wanted to continue like all fighters do but I feel the referee did the right thing & stopped the fight.
If the ref had let the fight continue it could easily have ended up another ring tragedy

McCall destroyed himself in that fight, and I don't recall a 2nd fight in which Lewis "destroyed" Mercer. I do however recall a very controversial fight between them in which many people though Mercer deserved the nod, what about you?

He couldnt even hurt a defenseless McCall, let alone destroy him lol.

True, but had he taken McCall and Rahman seriously, dude retires undefeated.

I use to be hard on Lennox, but the man accomplished a lot in his career. He's definitely top 10-15 at heavyweight.

Ali lost to Spinks the Olympian AND beat Spinks when Ali had Parkinson's. Ali was shot by then. Holmes, Berbick, and Spinks were lucky they didn't even get a past his prime version of Ali. Lewis is great, but there's Lewis and then there's Ali.

He was holding back clearly. Did you forget that McCall has never been hurt badly in his pro career?

And look at some of the fighters Ali struggled with. You're talking rubbish, coming from someone who isn't a Lewis fan.

Look at them, even the people he struggled with are higher class than the people Lennox lost to. Lennox was fortunate that he hit is professional prime in a time when all his peers were washed up or fading hard.

Ali struggle with guys that Rahman and McCall might still beat.:yep:yep:yep

Don't go all hater in this thread cuz your a Klitschko hater and by degrading Lewis you degrade his best technical win, ie Vitali Klitschko.

And prime Ali was busted up by Joe Frazier.....I mean, the guy was a toughman, but winging hooks wouldnt get you far in Lewis's or the Klitschkos division.

Sorry bro......complete fail. Shot Tyson<<<<<<<<ANY SINGLE ALI VICTORY LESS Foreman.:deal:deal:deal

And Lewis's toughest fight was against a man his sparring buddy outclassed in his late 30s. LOL

I agree with the bold big time, except I would include foreman.
