why not move up and fight peterson? his fight vs matthysse hasn't been finalised. That would have been a good test for both guys.

tough fight......far tougher than anyone at 135.....hopefully after this he drops down to 140 cause thats where the big fights are for him. I'd like to see him kick Rios' ass first then take on Garcia/Matthysse before going back up to 147. Stylistically and size wise Paulie presents a lot of trouble. I expect Paulie to win at least 3 rounds. You gotta remember he hung around for a terrible beating from prime Cotto.....Paulie's chin is iron and he's got great skills. This is a very tough fight, tougher than anyone at 135 and tougher than Rios, Matthysse and Garcia would be better fights though but meh jumping 2 divisions and fighting a champ right off the hop is madness especially when he just left 130.....

I agree. ....but he can move down for the right fights. Broner might be testing things out against a safer 147 lb option.

Stupid fight. Yeah he's jumping 2 weight classes but to fight a 32 year old malignaggi. Would probably be a better fight than burns or vasquez though.

I don't agree with the direction his career is going if he takes this fight, but I understand it.

    Burns is bigger!

Move up and go after him! Thing is, Burns "don't want none" no matter what!

Why are people underestimating the weight jump so much? He's fighting a much bigger man than he has done previously. I will still pick him to win but he isn't fighting a bum.

Nothing wrong with Broner jumping up 2 div. and testing the water but let's face it at this point 32 yr old, light punching Paulie is the definition of Cherrypick.
