Nice stiff jab drives Zaveck back a nice right hand left uppercut lands on the inside. Another left lands from Thurman and they tie up. Double jab from thurman. Right hand to body and left upstairs from Thurman. Nice right hands from THurman. Two slapping rights from Zaveck. Hard left and right to head of Zaveck. Hard right to body of Zaveck. Big right lands from Thurman and Zaveck lands a right of his own.

Zaveck's mouthpiece fell out late.

I think Thurman's nervous energy has hurt his endurance tonight, but he recovered nicely in the 7th. Great test for him, in any case.

Zaveck pressing wildly they are trading jabs now in the middle of the ring. zaveck just dropped his mouthpiece. Jab right lands from Thurman. Zaveck pressing but getting tied up on the inside. Zaveck lands a nice right upper cut on the inside. Big right from Thurman. Double jab from Thurman. Hard right to body of Zaveck t tie up. Hard right and left hook from Thurman and they tie up.
