Zaveck charges again and is tied up. Zaveck throws a right and eats a left and right. Hard left and rights to body of Zaveck now. Nice right hand from Thurman on thurman on the ropes. Hard left hand and rigth and knocks Zaveck off balance. Nice right from Zaveck buth he eats a big right to the body. Zaveck charged and they tie up. Thuramn misses arigth. 5 punch flurry ending with a left uppercut hurts and buckles Zaveck's legs badly and he retreats and survives the round

Thurman is having a very beneficial experience here. Long fight, tough rounds, but learning something positive about himself.

I do think he'll be a little too easy to hit against the elites, though.

 

He is a lot different here, but he was driving Zavek back at the end of that round :yep

Round 9 to Thurman, who is holding it together pretty well as he enters uncharted territory (first time past round 8).

 

Zaveck is one durable dude. He's eaten some hard shots in the fight and keeps on coming.
