I have to say, I did not put much stock into the win at the time. But, considering all the good fighters who have been unable to beat him since..... and given that Joe himself was past his best, the win def has raised in stock to me since. Still. Prime vs Prime : Hopkins > JC ATG Ranking : Hopkins > JC just imo
Slay he won a highly disputed decision. I had it for Hopkins but if the yhad a rematch right after i can easily say that Calzaghe could have won. That fight showed you that Calzaghe was not just some punk from Whales who hid behind his title because he lacked the skill to make it at the very top.
Nice to use BHOP to put Calzaghe in limelight since he wasnt there even in his prime outside of Britain...i know you hate that but its fact if it wasnt for you trolls no one would talk about him, Joe was very good champion nothing more HOF yes not ATG!!!
:deal this piggybacking **** doesn't apply here. only fighters to clearly beat Bhop is prime Roy and Dawson. MANY boxing fans, including myself had Bhop winning that fight against Calzaghe. Taylor must be a certified ATG based on the fact that he "beat" Hopkins...TWICE.
