Hopkins vs Froch in the UK?

    Why not? I know Bhop is willing. Froch is another guy X can handle. Very slow of foot. X's only worry is the combinatioms that Froch can unleash at times. He'll avoid the first one but the 2nd, 3rd and 4th are the issues. But all in all, Froch has the style that X can beat.

    Let's go Froch fans. You up to take the challenge?

    I think he's still capable of beating Froch. Dangerous though, of course. That's actually probably the most interesting fight out there.

    Yeah, if he keeps on fighting, I'd like to see this.

    i think he handles Froch with ease, Froch's punches are way too slow for Hopkins, Cloud was throwing some decent right hands and Hopkins was catching them on his back, he could do that all night against Froch

    I'd love to see it. Hopkins beats him at 175. Even at 48 years old.

    I kept saying it over and over again. A game Dawson couldn't land squat on X. X's d is unreal. He pivots, rolls, ducks, slides, away from punches. It's just unreal. How many flush shots did Cloud land? 10? X is a legend. Appreciate him. We will never see another like him in our lifetime. Maybe ever.

    Hopkins said he was willing to fight Froch ? I think Froch has a decent enough Jab and the stamina to completely outwork Hopkins at 48.
    Lets not get carried away cloud always had stamina issues and hadn't fought in 13 months.Hopkins loves fighting guys with stamina issues guys that can gas after round 5 Froch doesn't gas so I think this would be an extremely tough fight for Bhop.

    Not sure Froch is even looking to go to 175 though.

    I'd prefer to see him fight ward the old master vs the so called new master.

    Who has he ducked lately? I never thought he would ever fight Dawson given the terrible style matchup. But he did twice. Why would he NOT fight Froch. Favorable style matchip and gets to earn a huge payday in the UK.

    If Froch fights at 175, it better be against Dawson, not Hopkins.

    I'm tired of seeing our old legends being served up to them B class bitches in the UK and then have them talk like they are the kings of boxing if they happen to win.(which ain't no gurantee) **** Froch.

    Highly interesting matchup both in and out of the ring.

    I can't possibly think of a more intriguing fight for X both in terms of legacy and $. He's not fighting Ward. We should just throw that out the window. X knows Ward would tax his ass. The build up for this fight would be epic. HBO make it happen!

    Froch would probably stop Hopkins in my opinion. He's not stupid enough to fall into the trap like Pavlik, Cloud, Pascal, and Tarver did. I love Hopkins and he can beat most of them out there, but Froch is not one of them, same goes for Ward and Dawson.

    Froch is a very athletic guy who WILL connect flush on Hopkins and hurt him. Maybe not a stoppage, but he wins a UD in my opinion.

    You can't hit something if you aren't in range. X is the master of controlling the distance of a fight. Froch's heavy feet won't do him any favors. The only worry for X is during the exchanges where Froch might land some good shots. But X should be able to control this fight with his feet.
