Hopkins vs Bute next?

I like the old man, don't know if I want him to go out with a KO.

 

Bute should've fought him years ago while everyone was tied up with the S6 instead of fighting cans in his backyard.

Bute would get embarrassed by Hopkins.

 

I can see X being interested. The $ would be great. But i think Bute is wrong for X. Fast hands and can move and box from the outside. Sort of similiar to Dawson and Taylor. I think Froch makes more sense. Better style and probably similiar $. Not to mention a greater legacy enhancer.

Hopkins would spank Bute, why would anyone in their right mind pick Bute? He's already been exposed, EXPOSED.

Hopkins would bring out the executioners mask once again and stop the jelly jawed hypejob.

Honestly Bute is not someone Hopkins will fight.

He fights strong tough fighters... not fast or technical ones.

Cloud was tailor-made and that fight made me a lot of money. I could not see it going wrong unless Hopkins got old over night.. (which was possible).

Bute is not tailor-made for Hopkins. Hopkins is more likely to try Froch or Kessler - but I do think he also think they are a bit much so I don't know that there is such a great fit as cloud for Hopkins out there right now...

 

I would favour Bute to win this one.
I think Butes combinations and boxing would outpoint Hopkins.
Bute doesnt like to stay close and likes to get out where possible, so I dont see Hopkins being able to hold him at will and see Bute winning a UD

 

This will be a tough fight for Hopkins. People overlooking Bute are forgetting that he has trouble with active aggressive fighters and Hopkins surely isn't active nor aggressive at 48.
