hate everything about this fight. (except the build up)

broner should be 135/140 for now. Rushing him to 147 for a pointless money fight.

Broner beats paulie with ease and picks up and easy belt. Hbo trying to fast track Broner into a star, they know ww division is the best place to get attention. Don't be surprised if just before floyd retires they make Adrian Broner turn on floyd saying floyd ducking him. This will be like that rocky film all over again. And floyd will come out of retirement and beat that ass.

Ducking Rios! He has the audacity to call Burns a duck when he moved up. At least Burns had a reason, Broner is totally forgoing a division. Rios barks, Broner runs.

Not sure why people assume he's skipped 140. This is just one fight at 147 (?). Who says Broner won't fight guys like Khan, Matthysse, etc? That's still highly possible. After all, he is "The Canman." I would like for him to beat Burns and/or Vazquez first but fighting Paulie is still a step forward from Broner's last fight. Paulie is a much better opponent than Rees. Forget about Rios. I'd pay good money to see him fight Broner but we all know who will prevent that fight from happening.

Why do people keep tossing out this line?

It's one ****ing fight at WW. He's not 'missing' anything. He was not going to fight any of the top guys at 140 in his very next fight anyway, so stepping up in class to face a guy like Paulie at this stage of his career is a smart move. He'll move down to 140 afterwards, most likely.

Bypassing a stacked division to fight a pillow fisted welterweight that lost to every top fighter he's faced. This ****ing stinks.

Malignaggi is shitty but i guess this could be an interesting fight. Broner will probably beat him up. It depends how he handles the weight but i doubt it'll be a problem. Malignaggi cant punch anyway.

Broner would be an idiot to do this. He should take his time coming up and focus on 140lb fighters if anyone.

He can take a tune up at 140 and get a shot at a title in his next fight.

Skipping 140 is a **** move. Not fighting the best at 135 is a **** move.

Paulie was right about HBO trying to force him as a star instead of letting him earn it. He's fought one decent opponent in his career and already the hype machine has him in the top ten p4p and saying he beats anyone from 135-147. Ridiculous.
