Just because he is fighting Trout now doesn't mean that he wasn't ducking him in the beginning. He was, and it was so obvious that he couldn't live it down and had no choice but to fight Trout. It's gut check time for his ass and he must answer those questions in order to be taken serious. I'm not saying he's gonna lose, but there is a good chance that he will and ( win or lose ) it's how he handles this caliber of fighter that will determine his destiny.:bbb

after reading educated opinions who have pointed out that trout will probably have to win 8-4 and outland canelo by 30-40 punches most are realizing that trout, who will in all likelihood be a +250 in texas alongside gbp judge gale van hoye, will assuredly lose to one judge and will have to sweep the remaining two.

and thats why its no suprise that canelo will be a -280 when he should be even money; that being the opinion of most knowledgeable people.

Wait, what? Although he signed to fight Trout a few weeks after Canelo critics learned of Austin's existence using him to call Saul a cherry picker although they backed Cotto to beat the unknown kid Canelo has no obligation to fight... Alvarez is still ducking, he just didn't have a choice? Excellent! :happy

It must've been the shortest duck in boxing history considering Trout only made a name for himself a couple of Saturdays back, and Canelo is already in camp to fight him.

But my question was... where are all those ppl. who picked Trout to leave no doubt and score a blowout? I don't see them all that confident now that the fight is on. What happened?

Canelo By Decapitation... these slick black nut huggers will not know what hit them. they are MIA in this thread because they are stupid, quincy is the only idiot who showed and was one of the one's saying Canelo would never fight trout, now that he has my foot stuck all up in his ass and cannot extract it he says the only way trout wins is big.. or else they give it to the ginger.

now you just look dumb to everyone here...again.

if it was up to a nuthugger like you canelo would be fighting maidana on april 20.

please, dont respond to any more of my posts because its impossible to carry on a rationale conversation with you.

and being a rationale fight fan without a pink **** stuck in his mouth im like most boxing pundits saying that thie fight is 50/50 sans gbp judging.

    you need professional help.

good grief you should do a lifetime ban bet that canelo doesnt tko/ko trout but you dont have the balls to back up that mouth unlike myself.

I also said Canelo would not fight Trout. I'm glad he is but the fact still remains that he was ducking him at first. Im incline to believe that his management has no faith in him. I really see nothing special on Trout and Canelo would actually look good against a LEGIT opponent for once. If he continues to challenge himself he will have more following, including me. Just like Chavez Jr found some balls and fought tough opposition and won people's respect, its about time Canelo does it too. Up until the fight with Trout, he was just the laughing stock.

He's suppose to fight Trout or hell at least another top ranked 154 pounder we shouldn't really be celebrating that he is. He's been feasting on kindergarteners. That said he easily could've fought another and Trout/Alvarez will be a good fight. Alvarez hasnt proven he's elite yet or even a special fighter. The jury is still out on him.

Trout has the tools to win and I pick him to win this fight, But I also again believe that neither guy is really tested at this stage, this will be their first time facing a true threat for both.

Trout though he did just beat Cotto that style is almost like Canelos, however Canelo has more speed and heavier hands IMO, Cotto was able to score with good left hooks but dont have the power or youth to do much against a young guy like Trout...

Also Trout when he beat Delvin Rodriguez not a very fun fight to watch, but he respected the power that Rodriguez brought and his countering skills....

there is a huge chance Canelo pulls this off, if he can establish himself early and tag trout with some clean shots, Trout will pull back a little as he did with Rodriguez and try to play it safe and revert to boxing....

its Canelos job to close the distance and make sure that this does not turn out to be a boxing match that he make it a brawl..... I believe thats whats going to happen in this fight Trout will have to dig deep to pull it out.....

But I also believe Canelo too can win this fight just as easy as Trout can.... Pick em fight I like Trout, but it will come to me as no surprise to see Canelo win this fight
