Well I'm not sure what do you mean but..

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winter_War

It's kinda miracle how Finland was able to retain it's independence.. Our soldiers were maybe toughest and most patriotic people that this planet has ever carried. ''The Soviets possessed more than three times as many soldiers as the Finns, thirty times as many aircraft, and a hundred times as many tanks..''

Consu, what do you think of Jarno Rosberg? I hear he did well against Wlad in sparring. He lacks power but is pretty skilled for a big guy. I think he would outbox Helenius.

I believe that slickstar was just sarcastic.Finnish soldiers were toughest fighters in ww2.
There were 300 000 german soldiers in lapland and they were not able to do a thing.
Finns called them as "asphalt road warriors" because they did not know how to fight in foreststs.

Well he was supposed to be Helenius' comeback opponent but got ill and Tank Williams took that chance. To be honest I don't see Rosberg beating Helenius. Rosberg is OK and has some skills but he is gunshy and predictable. I've heard those same things from Klitschko camp and it was the one and only Emmanuel Stewart who praised Rosberg as a one of the best sparring partnerts they have ever had. Took him to the press confrence and introduced Rosberg and said ''Remember this name''. That is a cool achievement for any fighter.

Those things that I was talking about are kinda weird cause all that we have seen from Rosberg in pro fights is against all that what he is praised for. He hasn't been that impressive.

    Helenius beats Rosberg fairly easily.

And btw Rosberg had a contract as a replacament opponent for David Price(thompson fight) cause it was unsure for a longtime that will Thompson take the fight or not. It was confirmed only two weeks before the fight.

    Tomorrow, Savonlinna, Finland:

Edis Tatli (20-0) vs Innocent Anyanwu (21-9)
    - Solid stay busy fight. Next fight should be a big one.

Jussi Koivula (13-1) vs Lukasz Janik (8-1)
    - Koivula's comeback fight after suffering his first defeat because of cut. Could be interesting, Janik ain't bum.

Niko Jokinen (21-0) vs Virgilijus Stapulionis (20-2)
    - ''Do not blink'' fight. Dangerous and solid test for Niko. My favourite fight of the evening!

Eemeli Katajisto (5-0) vs Antonio Manuel (4-11)
    - Katajisto to get some rounds in against good journeyman.

Matias Laitinen (3-0) vs Janneh Haruna (pro debut)
    - Interesting fight between two novices.

Mikko Alanko (2-0) vs Valentin Stoychev (5-13)
    - :tired

Niklas Räsänen (pro debut) vs Tzvetozar Iliev (2-1)
    - Räsänen makes his pro debut and interesting to see what he brings to finnish boxing scene.

Cool to see Tatli staying active, but until he gets a better dance partner I probably won't go out of my way to watch especially since there is much higher priority stuff going on tomorrow.

Tomorrow Ville Piispanen challenges Michele Di Rocco for the EBU light welterweight. :good

Piispanen is slick and tricky but I don't know if it is even possible to win in Italy  Piispanen lost a close fight against Lenny Daws and Daws was totally robbed against Di Rocco.. So this is interesting.
