The heavyweights today get in shape? You're insane. Solis,Chisora,Fury (first half of his career) Chris Arreola,Sherman Williams,Tony Thompson,Chauncy Welliver,Andy Ruiz Jr
You think Chisoras a super heavy?? He's a small heavyweight by todays standards. Maybe you were thinking about Haye vs Valuev??
Chisora is 245 pounds! Superheavweight refers to weight not height. It's called HEAVYWEIGHT not HEAVYHEIGHT. Chisora is 6'1" so not very tall still big. Wide as a rhino. Chisora is a superheavyweight.
90s flashback: "George Foreman, old, fat and immobile, won two-thirds of the available titles Saturday night."
Oh Christ. Is this idiot for real? Today a fighter's considered in good shape if he weighs in in the 240s. That tells you all you need to know.
No they werent, get off boxrec & watch the ****ing fights. Holmes, Tyson, Witherspoon, Thomas, Dokes etc.. much better than todays division.
Tony Tucker was a great fighter. Speed, one punch power, height, reach, athleticism. And then Tyson came around. So in the 80's we had at least a few good fighters just like we have a few good fighters today.
George Foreman was a great fighter! He had one punch KO power and landed his shot. Moorer wasnt even the best champion of the 90's. The 90's had Holyfield,Bowe,Lewis,Tyson,Moorer,Bruno,Morrison,Tua,Ibeabuchi,Foreman Yeah the 90's were ten times better than the current division.
I know he did, but I'm referring to an official decision. Cunningham also beat Adamek who outweighed him by twenty pounds.
