Hopkins says he can make 168lb why is the call for a Froch fight and not Ward ?

So Hopkins states nobody can beat him 168-175lb yet here we are calling for Hopkins vs Froch ? surely we should be calling for Hopkins vs Ward at 168-175 ?

Hopkins "nobody can beat me at 168-175 But I'm not fighting Andre ward"
    :patsch

Hopkins is 48 years old. He can fight whoever he wants. Hopkins/Ward would be an ugly fight anyway. Hopkins/Froch could actually be entertaining.

Hopkins simply has a better chance against Froch than Ward. Ward is on a whole other level.

Not sure but maybe Ward's tweet has something to do with it:

"Thanks for all the support!! I love doing this!! And no...B-Hop did not call me out. He said he would never fight me...that's what was said."

He has a chance of beating froch. Not a hope against ward.

Ward would beat the **** out of Hopkins. Froch v Hopkins would be way more interesting. But Froch probably stops him.

If Froch gets past Kessler he should move to 175 and challenge Hopkins, who else is Froch going to get good money against at 168? Nobody wants to see Ward beat him again, Hopkins v Froch is something new, and he could do something Calzaghe never did and thats beat Hopkins convincingly...

Hopkins looked drawn as hell at 175 Friday. No need for 168.

Hopkins-Ward would be one of the worst fights imaginable. Nobody would watch it, those that did would complain, and Ward would win.

Hopkins-Froch would be a huge sell in the UK or eastern US. Hopkins would most likely win and the styles would make for an entertaining fight.

More money in a Froch fight, and it's one more opportunity for Hopkins to school an inferior boxer.

Is the OP an idiot. Both of them have said this (they won't fight each other), many times. Ward looks at Hopkins as a mentor and friend. Why do they let people make these redundant threads?
