    Went to the cycling World Cup there last year, great venue, either the Emirates or the velodrome would be good for boxing!

    SECC = 10,000
    Emirates Arena = 7,000
    Where would you want to fight?

    Would rather fight in the Glasgow Hydro = 12000, (opening in September).

    The Hydro will be the perfect venue for big time boxing in Glasgow when it's opened

    Didn't the SECC get 12,000 for the Burns vs Mitchell fight?

    I believe it was 10,000. The SECC Hall 4 which Burns and Mitchell fought in is to be only used for conventions when the Hydro is officially opened. This is due to the cost of building and removing seating and stage is time consuming and costly.

    The Hydro will now be used for all concerts, boxing etc.

    Is the hydro the one being built by the bbc building? Looks a good venue

    Yeah, part of the SECC complex. Looks good though a shame it's only 12000 capacity, still the biggest capacity for any of the indoor arenas in Glasgow.

    its right the other side of the bridge heading over to the BBC offices.

    in fact its right in front of the hotel next to water and directly in sight of the SECC.

    Yeah seen that, Glasgow should have an arena slightly bigger for the size of the city IMO, around 15k would be perfect. Still better than anything we have now so won't complain
