Future HOF, top 8-15 LWW, best crowd drawer in the post DLH era. Underrated skills and resume that will be put in proper perspective as years pass.

wasted his best years on too many b level fighters. Good skills but his best attribute were his strength and stamina in his early years at 140.
Does have some good wins. Kosta was faded but still very good coming off a 3KO win over Judah. Hattons style was always going to cause him trouble.
Good wins over Urango and Paulie - bit lucky to get past Collazo.... should have stepped up around the time of the Pedersen fight where and maybe left Graham for some who could teach him to move his head a bit more....

what do you mean coming off of a ko over judah? that fight was over 3 years before ricky fought him. He did look good against sharmba though.

He's better than Timothy Bradley who is the best young lion today.

Could have had a much better and longer career if he looked after himself between bouts.

He messed up his comeback by fighting a ranked fighter immediately. I dont understand why didnt have a tune up fight before stepping up.

I thought he was good but Witter was better IMO. Damn shame they never fought.

Very good but limited imo. And i dont agree with the above poster who states he was underrated (skills-wise)... i think he was vastly overrated due to his fanbase and hype.

yep sorry got my names mixed up for some reason i always think the judah fight happens closer to hatton. Anyway it was still a good KO win over a decent level fighter

nah he wasnt. Awkward styled switch hitter - low level punch output - good - decent chin but not outstanding power and only really beat 2 decent fighters in Ndou and Harris. Hatton lists of wins at least has Kosta,Urango and Paulie on it and all 3 are better than anything Witter faced.

It would have been an interesting fight as Hatton was poor against lefties and Witter could switch hit but a prime hatton would have had the strength and work rate not to mention chin to make Witter work for 3 minutes of every round and thats never been Juniors style

Destroyed his career being so unhealthy between fights, had more potential.

Champion in two weight divisions, has a nice resume with a couple of quality wins.
He is probably not much of a H2H threat since he is not a very skilled fighter, and often look clumsy and ugly in there.
Very good boxer that lacked dedication to have longievity.
