Cam say what he wants bottom line is he is never going to fight Adrien Broner now. That chance has been and gone.

Burns probably wants the fight but his Eddie Hearn doesn't. In the same way Darren Barker would want Golovkin, but Eddie Hearn doesn't.....Only one man calling the shots.

He has only just signed with Hearn, but Hearn was fine with making Rees vs Broner, and Martinez vs Barker. Reason being they are big money fights, Golovkin has a big risk with a small pay day.

This guy clearly doesnt want the Broner fight. He sounds relieved that Broner is moving up to fight paulie.

Is it me or Burns is really more interested in milking that title?

He didn't sound interested in the big fights at all.

It seems like Burns will be confortably doing his fights at home against modest opposition for the near future.

I beat Hearns and Burns a very happy that Broner moves up. They want no part of Broner wich is ok because Broner is way too dangerous!

Broner has the perfect chance to make an offer now.If it's Burns he wants,put Paulie on hold and make the deal for August.
It's just been on local news that Hearn will offer Broner a fight in Glasgow.
Unlike many Broner fans with Burns,I don't hate Broner.Rate him highly.
But the hate towards Burns on here shows that many have no idea what the guy is actually like.
Fans have been moaning for years for him to leave VVarren,he's down a lot of money and he doesn't have an HBO contract to live off.The Vasquez fight was to give him more bargaining power with Broner,so now he's free for August/September.
Make the offer Broner.It's down to you now.

Few thing wrong with this... Firstly if they are making an offer to fight in Glasgow then straight away we do know that there isn't really an offer to speak of at all. Because we and especially Team Burns know that Broner coming over here is a complete non starter. They KNOW this. So why are they trying to kid people into thinking they are trying to realistically make this fight? If they arnt offering to go over there (USA) then they really arnt saying **** all.

Secondly....Broner has a fight date in June. So it's well and truly a waste of time talking about September when you KNOW that YOU are fighting in May and HE is fighting in June. So again, they really arnt saying **** all, just blowing pretend hot air about things they know arnt going to happen in any event.

Lastly...calling someone out AFTER they have signed to fight someone else (Paulie) is the oldest trick in the book. So again pointless. Burns vs Broner has sailed. Gone. Never going to happen. And that's well and truly, purely and solely down to Ricky Burns not having the coconuts when it mattered. Unfortunately.

I was referring more to Burns going over there with my own point.
But it's ok to call a legitimate belt holder out for a date you're under pressure to fill meaning he only has 7 weeks to prepare for a very loseable fight,but once Burns is free of promotional roadblocks,it's too late because Broner moves up 2 weights for a soft fight that exaggerates the jump?
Also, people call out Burns for moving up from 130 when he was genuinely toiling, but Broner jumps 2 classes when Burns is good for an offer and that's just fine?
And Broner called Burns out when the fight was postponed.that ok too?

Broner has yet to beat or fight someone who is better than Burns

Burns arguably has a better resume to date

The fight can still happen but it might end up being at 140 the way things are going

Eddie Hearn spoke about wanting him to fight May 11th, then September and December and that one of those latter dates can still be Broner

This 7 week camp excuse needs to be dropped aswel. Didn't burns have to cancel a fight that he had a full camp for right before the Broner offer? So he should have been in tip top shape already, so 7 weeks on top of what he'd already done was more than enough. Besides it was only the same amount of time Broner was allowing for himself so why the crying? 7 weeks was fine for Gavin Rees was it not? It's just a wank excuse for shitting out of a fight he didn't want.
