No. Jones hadnt won a meaningful fight in 5 years when he fought Calzaghe. He had been KO'd cold in previous years. Beat Trinidad after Trinidad came out of retirement 10lbs above where he last fought. And beat a couiple of mediocre opponents. The win means nothing.
i know dude, id just prefer more objectivity on the matter. But some fans dont want to accept the truth, i said on the sweetscience site before Calzaghe jones fight that calzaghe would win because jones was past it.
