Don't have a lot of interest in a guy that fakes low blows like Hopkins does. That isn't 'crafty' :nono

He also clinches, wrestles, grabs, holds, and leads with his head but that is called 'crafty' on here by people. It isn't.

They've both had boring fights and both have had great fights (maybe not competitive but masterclass-style performances.) It can be frustrating watching Wlad when he won't finish, and it can be frustrating watching Bernard when he's acting like a baby whining to the ref and canvas-flopping. It's a more certain thing when watching prime post-Peter I Wlad that you're going to see total domination of the opponent culminating in a knock-out. When Hopkins has a highly entertaining fight, I consider it a nice surprise, but I never expect a knock-out from him at this stage.

Always waiting for Wlad to register the knock-out because, to his credit, he almost always does, puts more pressure on Wlad's performances than Hopkins, making it easier to be critical of him as a fan. I'm happy to see a UD in a Hopkins fight, but disappointed whenever there's a UD in a Wlad fight. He's set the bar high for himself.

    Overall, Wlad is more entertaining.

Wlad....no faking injuries, no fouling, and almost always has a KO ending...

 Where does this delusion come from? Hopkins LHW opposition is far better than he beat at MW but...

    Pavlik --Ibragimov
    Pascal---Chambers
    Tarver---Chagaev
    Dawson--Haye
    Cloud----Peter/Thompson

    Far superior, no.

Mention a Klitchsko in a thread and it turns into spastic heaven :patsch

Shame these twats aren't boxing fans (with an honourable mention to Boxed Ears who is undoubtedly an ATG poster but seems to have a giant blind spot when it comes to the Klits).

No faking injuries? Chisora would disagree, Wlad cancelled his fight to play golf and then fight Haye.

No fouling? You do realise clinching is illegal?

Almost always has a KO ending? Doesn't count when your entire resume is B level opposition at best, and you have a tag team partner.

Bhop is no angel and I'm no fan of his, but his achievements and resume **** all over both Klits put together.

Oh come on! There's no comparison. One is a boring middle aged fighter who should have retired years ago and the other is Bernard Hopkins.

    JK!

Can't stand to watch either from a boxing perspective, but watching B-hop is watching history being made.

Crying in the ring? Some people are emotional! Crying means you're a bad fighter? Both guys are great champs but Hopkins has had a longer more storied career. Both are boring though too. Hopkins-Dawson was so bad becuase I knew that there wasnt even a chance for a KO. At least with Wlad vs whatever bum, there is a good chance for a KO finish!
