Yes because of the left hook that Nonito gave him. That's how powerful Donaire's left hook is and Arce is not going to be the last person Nonito sends into retirement.

simple. its because a year ago he was with pac on the platform of being number 1.. pac lost, so you take pac out and that leaves mayweather. forget about marquez being number 1 he just lost to fmj. i can only see nonito being number 1 if he cleans out rigo and mares in a dominating win... and if fmj lost, tied or retired

Donaire is fighting the best in Guillermo in Guillermo's backyard. Not only is Nonito fighting a champion, he's doing to where there will be a pro Rigo crowd. Donaire could have fought a tough guy in Darchinyan like most people would but he wants the best and only the best.

Jorge Arce was a great champion and Nonito beat him fair and sqaure. Give respect where respect is due, if Donaire would have lost I would have given Arce credit.

I respect that list but I would definitely have Donaire ahead of Ward and Marquez. Ward hasn't fought anybody and Marquez lost to Chris John not to mention Pacquiao 3 times. Donaire hasn't lost in over 12 years and has won his last 30 fights. Donaire also has the huge Filipino fanbase out there he can get once Pacquiao hangs up with gloves.

Even officially he's only lost to Pac twice.

If your talking unofficially hes clearly beaten Pac 2 times, arguably 3.

3rd fight was a clear robbery, 4th was KTFO :rofl:rofl:rofl

Come on man, i love pac too but to say it was a "lucky punch" that's like saying every knockout pac ever delivered was a lucky punch. Did you not see marquez timing that punch leading to the knockout? That's the punch he trained, theres video of him dropping his sparring partner the same exact way. It's a shame you guys can't appreciate a great knockout. To much of this nut hugging going on. Also no way Marquez is #2 p4p he found pacquio 4 times and took him 4 times to beat him. who else has he beaten to get him #2?

Pacquiao won the first fight. He knocked Marquez down three times and one of the judges made an error and scored it 10-7 even though it should have been 10-6 for a standard 3 knockdown round.

It doesn't matter because even his own country in Marco Antonio Barrera accused Marquez of taking steroids.
