To me, it seems like he's running. I don't know if it's him or his managment, but he needs to stop hanging out with Floyd's ***** ass. 140 is the most STACKED division, by far. Peterson, Rios, Judah, Marquez*, Garcia, Matthysse, Maidana, Khan, and even Pacquaio could fight in that division. Those are some GREAT fights. To be honest, Malinaggi has no business being at 147 anyway. Honestly, I thought he lost to Cano. This is unacceptable. Guys at 135 are not good enough, and Broner is way too big. He made Rees look like a child. But at 140, guys can actually test him with their power, so it will make for fan friendly, exciting fights. I mean, this division is perfect for Broner to become a superstar in. The Malinaggi fight isn't even competitive at ALL. Malinaggi can't hurt him, his boxing skills are overrated as he can only move to his left, and he's not a true 147 lb fighter. It's a bull**** fight. I want to see Broner vs Rios or Peterson. He can beat them both, but they at least have a chance to win. *eats his own ****, drinks ****
Going to 147 is pretty much waving goodbye to the Burns fight too, which might be made with Burns now with Matchroom. What I'm most curious about is what he'll do after Malinaggi, will he go down to 140 after it?
He's going in for the easiest belt he can win at 147 and skipping lots of real threats at 140, it's very simple. Then he'll get matched up with Brook or Alexander, and follow Mayweather around like a little puppy until the latter retires and he boasts about being the new #1 P4P fighter.
Top Dogs at 140: Peterson, Garcia, Matthysse, Rios, Judah, Khan, Allakhverdiev. Then you have: Postol, Soto, Alvarado, Mayfield, Guzman, Olusegun, Spadafora.
All of those guys you mentioned are either unavailable for June or are with Top Rank. Boxing lacks structure and is wrought with politics and backroom deals. Broner has very little control over who he fights. He's pretty much at the mercy of the networks and promoters at this point in his career.
2 reasons, I think: 1. He's huge, a natural 150+lb guy, he's probably drained at 135 2. He's been fast tracked to a Mayweather fight For his first fight at 147, Malignaggi isn't a bad opponent
1 fight at 147 does not = skipping the 140 division. Was he going to fight any of the top guys at 140 in his next fight anyway? No. You're aware you can come back to 140 after being at 147, right? Those fights will be there and available for a long time. You're an idiot.
Broner loves his junk food/feeding frenzies so much it will not surprise me at all if he says he can't make 140 after the Malignaggi fight.
He was making 135 without much difficulty. He'll be fine getting back to 140. This 'skipping' the division thing is beyond idiotic, and I'm not even a fan of Broner.
I know you support a guy that eats his own **** and fantasize some gay ****, but Broner looks to be pullin a Mayweather. And Mayweather is bad for the sport. Mayweather is only good for Mayweather. Not boxing.
