whos burns gonna fight in may

John Molina Jr. has said he wants the fight. Otherwise Burns could tackle mandatory undefeated Puerto Rican Jose "Chelo" Gonzalez who i would expect Burns to dominate with ease. Ray Beltran would also be solid.

 

The Broner ship has sailed.

There's only Vazquez that the majority want, 135 is lifeless.

Hopefully he'll move to 140, plenty of fights out there.

I'd have preferred for this whole **** up not to have happened in the first place, it was completely avoidable. The fans have already been ripped off once and if it means paying again to see Burns take on Rees in a "world title fight" then they are going to be ripped off again. The longer that time goes on without an opponent the further down the barrel Burns' promotional team are going to have to scrape.

Kegsy made a good post but I can't see any of those opponents happening....we can but hope

To be honest now that Broner has moved up I don't think there are any 'big' names in the lighweight division and only a couple of 'dangerous' fighters, both of whom are extremely dull to watch.

 

Billy Nelson didn't exactly sound bursting with ambition in that iFilm interview, and I suppose Ricky would say "I'll fight whoever they put in front of me...". :-(
