Like Floyd cares about mandatories. When is the last time he fought one?

He has kept the belt since he won it off Ortiz

As it stands it looks like he wants to stay active campaigning with belts, so he has to fight his mandatory or drop the belt.

Has he said he wont fight in September?

    No.

Your just twisting his statement to say that.

He should remain focused on Guerrero, and Ginger should remain focused on Trout. Because if Trout is half as good as people make out on this forum then he is in for a long night.

What if he signs to fight Canelo now. Then Canelo loses to Trout. Then Mayweather contractually has to fight Canelo and get accused of ducking Trout.

We saw that when he signed to fight Judah. Who then fought and lost to Baldomir. Floyd had to contractually fight Judah before he could fight Baldomir the winner.

He never said he wouldn't fight him. He said "**** your ultimatum". There is a difference. Just stop bitching and think for a sec:

Floyd would trick a fighter into fighting on his PPV?
How would he get away with it?
Wouldn't the other fighter speak out about it and humiliate Floyd?
Wouldn't that hurt his reputation with other fighters?
How would he ever get Canelo, a budding star, to fight on another of his undercards?

The verbal agreement was the best he could hope for, because he hasn't even earned THAT. Now he's about Trout on a second tier broadcast, which is where he'd be without Floyd, anyway.

The PPV undercard would have given him more exposure, whether he got the Mayweather fight immediately afterwards or not.

    Exactly my point.

He signed to fight Judah. Who in turn lost to Baldomir.

That meant Floyd took **** for fighting Judah coming off a loss, even though it was contractually agreed to before he had lost.

Explain to me how an ATG picks to fight a guy who lost to Gamaliel Diaz? Oh that's right he won the "lottery" ticket. I guess a boxer needs to sit around and wait to get picked by Floyd to fight him, all they have to do is beat Berto. That's why Canelo wanted it in writting that if they both win, they fight in September. Floyd won't give the casual fans the fights they really want. Floyd would just fight any easy opponent and his *****s will eat it up as the next big threat for Floyd. Expect Alexander as his next opponent, an Alexander that quit against Bradley, he fits the profile nicely just like Ortiz-the young hungry lion did.

If Mayweather signs to a September fight with Alvarez, and he loses to Trout, then he is stuck fighting an unproven fighter coming off a loss.

Just like when him and Judah signed to fight, then Judah decided to go and lose.

Guerrero is his Mandatory. Lets get that fight out of the way first. Otherwise, predictably "he will be avoiding fighting his mandatory because he is scared and dosnt want to be pushed into a fight where he dont chose the opponent."
