sad that miguel is getting a new trainer. diaz is underrated, even then he still is open to learning new methods. hope the guy gets hired by more.

 

He's a guy I would love to sit back and talk boxing with one afternoon. His approach, to me, is great; very scientific and professional. Most importantly, though, he has a great ability to communicate his vision...in two languages no less.

Definitely under rated and would be on my short list if I were a fighter.

 

Seems to be a very dedicated guy. He had a great gameplan for Cotto in the Margo rematch

 

Hopefully he does well for all the Cuban boxers

 

Hope to see him train more fighters. Love his tactics and his philosophy.

 

The bold is just gold. I remember watching when he said that. Pedro's a badass.

 

Has Miguel dropping Pedro actually been confirmed?

 

I don't know where people are getting that. In an interview with the scene, they asked if he'd continue with Pedro, and Cotto said "We have to wait and see." Which was his answer to almost everything from who they were going to fight to when. Pedro was his original choice when they hired Steward until Pedro felt comfortable enough with the experience he had with pro fighters to train Miguel.

 

i hope Miguel Cotto didn't drop Pedro. He gave him three very solid performances. they are a good team.

 

I like the guy. I have a lot of respect for him. I hope Cotto decides to stay with him.
