Floyd's just worried about his fragile ego being bruised. It wasn't exactly a crazy demand. It was essentially Floyd fight fights the winner of Canelo / Trout. What's the big deal? Only the Floyd fluffers would seem to have a problem with this.

I believe this is true, he was never ranked #1....but he was #2 in 1983 & 1984 behind Hagler who was #1 those years

He's right. No way Canelo has any authority to dictate terms.

He needs to stop with the "I made him famous" **** though. He didn't make Manny famous and naming Canelo as a potential opponent is clearly not what has his Mexican fanbase tuning in for years now.

To be fair...Floyd defeated JMM when he was higher on the P4P list than anytime Pac fought him. But that doesnt matter right?

To be fair Floyd took a vacation when Pac gained traction in the pfp rankings.
I see you trying to putt jmm on a pedestal to give Floyd victory over Marquez more merit.Too bad Marquez had never fought at welter therefore not alot of people put too much stock into that fight.Unless your a *****. *****s use the pbf strategy of I beat Marquez who beat pacquiao so I guess you can say I ko 6 pacquaio.

no ones catching feelings lol , sounds like your out to protect floyds image. In the sport of boxing if you talk **** about a boxer but then hide behind the "ego" curtain floyd is hiding in then yes I have to assume floyd is a little worried about his health again. Thats just my opinion, the fact that canelo vs floyd would of made way more then guerrero vs floyd & the fact that Alvarez was ok with waiting aslong as he agreed to fight him next but floyd still denied. Boxing would be a better if fans got the fights they wanted right? And if he is going to trash talk another fighter who just happend to not come to a agreement then why not fight him ? or why trash talk if talk is all your going to do? we have one guy ready to box & another ready to talk... & if you check my post before we got into this all I said is "why is floyd bad talking canelo" I even asked if canelo had bad talked him to get this from floyd, there for me coming to the point that floyd is the butt hurt one not canelo.

This is false and I will display facts to prove you are wrong...

Mayweather retired in December 2007 after defeating Ricky Hatton.

In October of 2007 Pacquiao fought MAB the second time @130lbs.

5 months after that Pac fought JMM for the 2nd time @130lbs.

3 months after that Pac fought David Diaz @135lbs.

6 months after that in december of 2008 Pac fought ODLH @147lbs.

5 months after that in May of 2009 Pac dropped down to 140lbs to fight Hatton.

4 months after that in September of 2009, Floyd unretired and fought JMM....

You call beating Hatton & Oscar after Mayweather beat them "gaining traction"??

also your notion about JMM not being comfy a that weight is nullified by the fact that he was facing the best fighter in boxing. JMM has had 3 fights @147....the first he was dominated by floyd, the 2nd he lost a very disputed fight to Pac which many thought he won and the 3rd he put Pac to sleep for 10 minutes.
